Bawa Budh Singh
Bawa Budh Singh (4 July, 1878- 16 October, 1931), was born in Lahore. His father was Bawa Lehna Singh. He was a descendent of Guru Amar Das Ji. He studied the elementary Persian in a mosque and then joined Mission School and passed his Matric. After, his Matriculation, he joined F.C. College, Lahore. Then he joined Engineering College, Roorki. He died in a car accident. He was a poet, novelist, dramatist, translator, critic and researcher. His works are Hans Chog (1913), Koel Koo (1916), Bambiha Bol (1925), Prem Kahani (in Persian Script) and Raja Rasalu (Criticism & research), Chandar Hari, Mundari Chhal, Damani and Nar Naveli (Plays), Pritam Chhoh (Poetry), Daler Kaur (Novel), Niti Satak, Vairag Satak and Shingar Satak (Translation).
