Akbar Allahabadi (1846-1921) was born at Allahabad , India. Initially he was educated only in madrasas but later he studied law and finally retired as a session judge in Allahabad High Court. His ustad was Waheed. He witnessed the first war of independence in 1857, first world war and the initial part of Gandhi's peaceful movement.
